This day started off differently then most. I came down to the city with my parents & arrived a little after 6AM. I came down because I was going to be seeing one of my best friend's at some point during the day. My mom & I got dropped off at Fordham Rd & Southern Blvd. I decided to hop on the BX19 with my mom.
During my ride on the BX19, I was thinking of where I would start my railfanning from to kill a few hours. I finally made up my mind & got off at 145th St & St. Nicholas Ave. I decided to hop a B or D uptown to Bedford Park Blvd so I could do a "c.o.t" on the B.
The B came first so I took it up to Bedford Park Blvd & transferred to the downtown platform to begin my journey. There was no B ready to leave the station so I ended up riding the same B that I came on. I just went up one car.
The ride was horrible & not really because of the train itself but because I felt like shit the whole time. I had started to come down with some sort of a cold & my nose was stuffy. I had problems breathing the entire time. I almost called it off while entering the data but I stuck with it. The only 2 problems I had as far as the ride was concerned were being held at 145th St & W 4th St. The hold time at 145th St felt like 10 minutes but it was only 3. The hold time @ W4th St didn't seem as bad.
The only thing that made me not get off at some point was the nice flirting exchange I had with a woman across from me in the corner seats. We did this for most of the ride in the Bronx until she got off at 42nd St/Bryant Park. I enjoyed the run between 34th St/Herald Sq & W 4th St alot. In the end, I finished my chronicle & went shooting for a couple of hours.
